Why We Left Alibaba.com

When we informed our customers about our decision to leave Alibaba.com, many of them asked us why. The truth is, Alibaba.com has been an incredible and meaningful platform for Tesunho, and we are truly grateful for the opportunities it provided. However, as circumstances evolve, we must bid a heartfelt 'Thank you and Goodbye' to Alibaba.com for the following reasons:

1. Customization Over Standard Products

Online sales platforms typically favor standardized products, but Tesunho’s core strength lies in offering tailored solutions for different industries.

2. Innovation Over Popular Trends

Online platforms often encourage suppliers to sell products that are trending based on popular search keywords. However, Tesunho has always focused on innovation—providing solutions that may not be mainstream yet, but hold significant value for our distributors and dealers.

3. Shift in Alibaba’s Strategy

Since 2017, Alibaba wholesale platform’s running logic is totally same as Taobao, a retail platform. This attracts a growing number of end users to www.alibaba.com. Unfortunately, these end users are not our primary target audience.

4. Misalignment of Exposure Rules

Over time, the exposure rules on Alibaba.com no longer align with Tesunho’s needs and business model.

5. Declining Return on Investment

Among the nine wholesale marketing strategies, the cost-effectiveness of marketing efforts on Alibaba.com for Tesunho has been steadily declining, primarily due to Reason 3.

As the market continues to evolve, there may come a time in the future when we return to Alibaba.com. For now, we bid farewell with gratitude. Thank you, Alibaba.com, and we wish you all the best in your journey.
